Today I saw an enormous lathe the size of a ship. This was a CNC lathe at a GE facility in Illinois that is closing down. This monstrosity can hold giant parts up to 10 feet in diameter or up to 60 feet long. Despite being partly mounted in a pit, it towers over everything around it, projecting unimaginable might and power.
Note that "K3TC" stands for Kramatorsk Heavy Machinery Works. It is located in Kramatorsk, Ukraine.
