This is our "bread and butter" business. Our regular customer calls us every 2-3 months to help load and unload large plastic sheeting machines that he repairs for a living. The machines weigh about 20,000 lbs, but they are rather large and risky to lift with small forklifts.
We bring our 30,000 lbs forklift, a steel plate, position the machine for loading, and load. On other days, we unload and bring them into their shop. Overall, the job takes a half day or so, including trucking. We charge the customer a very reasonable rate -- considering that we bring a huge forklift -- and he is a great person to work with.
