Machinery Movers & Riggers in St. Charles and West Chicago, IL

St. Charles is home to bustling printing and packaging industry, as well as food packaging. West Chicago hosts numerous cozy rich people's hideout homes, cute, large and with substantial acreage, where some rich people accumulate machine tools (see below). Not as much metalworking industry.

The map shows 17 addresses from our calendar: seven in St. Charles and ten in West Chicago. The two towns meet at DuPage Airport. Five of the St. Charles addresses are around Kirk Rd, west of the airport. Five of the West Chicago addresses are east of the airport, around Powis Rd, Harvester Rd and Industrial Dr, and four are in the south part of town, around Wegner Dr and Roosevelt Rd.

In March 2026 we took apart a printing press line for scrap in St. Charles. We separated the press into units, carried the units to the dock with our forklifts, and loaded them on trailers. The pictures are in the gallery below. It was a Japanese printing press from 1970's, each section weighed about 27,000 lbs. Amazingly enough, it worked for over 50 years before becoming hopelessly out of date and broken (leaking too much oil).

Also in St. Charles, on Stone Dr, we delivered a 20,000 lb CNC machine from Bartlett, using our 30,000 lb forklift. On Wallace Ave we picked up two Bridgeport Series II milling machines, a lathe and a box brake, and took them to Aurora. On Ohio Ave we did an unloading job with a 15,000 lb forklift and skates.
